TRAVEL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Booking / Payment
Your booking is based on the travel description that you obtained per e-mail/pdf. or from our website. The booking must be made in written form (e-mail or facsimile) After you received the confirmation of your booking/invoice you are required to immediately pay a deposit of 10% of the total price per person. The remaining sum is due 14 days before departure at the earliest. Please note that you will not receive your complete travel documents before full payment has been made.
Potential insurance fees please pay directly to the insurance company (see point 6. or annex)

2. Goods and services
Rates quoted are per person in a double room. Single travelers have the opportunity to book a single room for a supplement (see EZZ). Due to the limited number of single rooms available in some hotels, accommodation and breakfast for single travelers will occasionally be in simple rooms or in other hotels or private pensions than those indicated in the brochure. The scope of services is specified in the relevant tour description of the INNTOUR catalogue valid at the time of booking or on the website. The stages of the itinerary indicated in the tour description are typical destinations. These destinations are subject to change, no refund is granted if it should become necessary to choose alternative tour stops in the close vicinity. On our own tours, we grant a discount of 25% on the package price for children under the age of 14 (before their 14th birthday) if they stay in the room of their parents (3-/4 bed room).

3. Cancellations and changes of booking
Cancellations must be made in writing, no particular form is required. We charge a cancellation fee of 10% of the total price per person until 28 days prior to departure. For cancellations between the 27th and the 8th day prior to departure we charge 50% of the total price per person. For cancellations 7 days or shorter before departure we charge a fee of 80% of the total price per person. No refunds are made for unused services from the day of departure or for no-show (or early return). The tour begins on the day of arrival at the starting location.
For changes of booking (changing the day of departure or category) up to 28 days prior to departure we charge a handling fee of EUR 55,- per booking. Changes at a later stage can only be made, if possible at all, by canceling the initial booking according to the conditions above and making a new booking.

4. Liability and limitation of liability
We are responsible with the diligence of a prudent businessman for the accurate description of all indicated travel services at the time of printing the brochure and for the content of our website, for carefully selecting and contracting service providers (hotels, transport services, etc.) and for the diligent preparation as well as execution of travel arrangements. We are not responsible for any sightseeing activities of the program that become impossible due to reasons beyond our influence (renovation, restrictions, reconstruction works, etc.). Customers participate in the tours at their own risk. It is the client’s responsibility to choose a trip within their capabilities. All clients are furthermore responsible for obeying road traffic regulations. Transportation is subject to the terms of contracted transport companies. Our responsibility on whatever legal grounds is limited to a total of 300% of the tour price, if the damage was not caused deliberately or due to negligence or if we are only held responsible for a damage that was caused by one of the service partners we selected. Unused services are generally not refunded. Every client is responsible to obey all regulations concerning passports, visas, customs and health issues. Minors are only permitted in company of a parent or legal guardian. If a trip should have to be cancelled due to reasons beyond our influence (acts of God, strikes, etc.) all payments will be refunded. We reserve the right to cancel the tour up to 21 days prior to departure if we fail to receive a minimum of 4 bookings. In such a case we will inform you immediately and refund all payments. Further claims are not possible. In the unlikely event that you should have any complaints we kindly ask you to immediately inform the tour guide or the management. Our tour guides are not entitled to accept any claims. We can only accept claims that are made in writing within one month after the contractual end of the tour. Oral subsidiary agreements require our written confirmation. We reserve the right to change services and prices and to correct errors, misprints and miscalculations. The place of jurisdiction is the place of business of the operator.

5. Travel offers in cooperation with local partners
Special conditions may apply for these tours (cancellation, insurance, services, etc.). Please refer to the description of services of the individual offer/arrangement. Detailed information is available upon request.

6. Insurance
For all self-directed tours from INNTOUR we recommend to book a travel cancellation insurance at the “Europäische Reiseversicherung” (contact: +43 (0)1-3172500). If you are interested in this service, please ask for our insurance information leaflets.

7. Operator
For all tours marked original tours the tour operator is: INNTOUR sport & touristic services. INNTOUR sport & touristic services further acts as travel agent for all other tours.

8. Money protection according to EC-degree
INNTOUR sport & touristic services is recorded in the Tour Operator Register of the Ministry of Economic Affairs with the registration number 2008/0037.

All tours organized by INNTOUR are covered by bank guarantee with Tiroler Sparkasse according to the austrian travel agency degree (BGBI). This applies to

a) any payments of customers made for tour packages in case of insolvency to the extent of not or partly not consumed services, and
b) additional costs for returning home resulted by insolvency of the tour operator.

The customer’s liability is limited to the payment made for tour packages and is defined with the total sum insured in the event of claim. In case the amount of protection is not in accordance with all claims, the requirements will be fulfilled with an aliquot part.

INNTOUR is not member of an insurance pool according to § 8 BGBI.

Liquidator under § 3 (1) sec 3. BGBI: In case of forfeited claim all claims has to be filed demonstrably at the Europäischen Reiseversicherung AG, Kratochwjle Strasse 4, 2020 Wien, Tel.: 01/317 25 00, Fax: 01/319 93 67, within 8 weeks from the onset of insolvency.
