First stop at the ‘Golden Roof in Innsbruck to enjoy a delicious coffee before you fill your bags with sparkling crystals at the fascination world of Swarovki Crystal.

Luckily times have gone, where highwayman lurked around in Kufstein to deter travelers to enter Bavaria. No matter where you decided to have a break as you get on both sides of the border, delicious bacon and beer.
Spiritual encouraged after a visit at the Altöttinger pilgrimage chapel you reach the picturesque baroque city Schärding, located along River Inn and end of the tour.

Mostly flat cycle paths are suitable for all kinds of cyclists and with a standard condition it is a relaxing tour.


Parking / arrival and departure
Innsbruck centre has a short-term parking zone and you have the possibility to park your car on the outskirts on an unguarded car park but free of charge.
Rates for a car park in the hotel garage approx. Euro 15,00/day – a special rate for 1 week is also available – details and reservation directly at the hotel.
You can also park your car in a public garage – rates approx. Euro 60,00/week – to arrange a ticket please contact your hotel prior arrival as the office is not open on Saturday, Sunday or on bank holidays.


Program

Day 1: Individual arrival to Innsbruck
Check-in and hand over of your travel documents and rented bicycles. Take your time to stroll around this pulsating town.

Day 2: Innsbruck – Strass (approx. 45 km)
Majestic mountains accompany you on your way from Innsbruck to Hall. In Wattens the Swarovski Crystal World is well worth seeing.

Day 3: Strass – Kufstein (approx. 35 km)
The path proceeds along the river over Rattenberg, Austria’s smallest town, to Kufstein. The impressive fortress dominates this town and offers a great view across the Tyrol and Bavaria.

Day 4: Kufstein – Wasserburg (approx. 68 km)
You cycle along the Inn over Rosenheim to Wasserburg. The picturesque town extends into the river.

Day 5: Wasserburg – Mühldorf (approx. 50 km)
Gentle hills and wooded plains form the scenery. Mühldorf which was formerly rich because of salt trade impresses with gorgeous houses and countless romantic alcoves.

Day 6: Mühldorf – Braunau (approx. 53 km)
On your way to Braunau cycle passed the Bavarian place of pilgrimage Altötting. A trip to this town brings you to the centre of Christendom. You cycle through Marktl – birthplace of Pope Benedikt XVI before you continue to Braunau.

Day 7: Braunau – Schärding/Passau (approx. 53 km)
You cycle through the magnificent European birds and plants reservation. Continue via the beautiful Monastery Reichersberg into the baroque town Schärding. You can on demand also end your cycling tour in Passau. Please let us know with your booking!

Day 8: Departure
By train you go back to Innsbruck or you extend your stay with extra nights.
